No matter how sweet and innocent your leading characters, make awful things happen to them—in order that the reader may see what they are made of.

    1. What a generous honour, Andy! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I apologise that this is coming to you so late as I was ill and out of commission for a while (with too much going on), but this means a lot to me. Thank you!!!

    2. I understand that comments on your blog are closed as I am a gazillion years late to respond to this; I have to thank you for your kind, kind words! It would be a privilege to travel with you and perhaps even blog about it together! I will be sure to follow the rules of this extremely fabulous award which you, more than anyone else, surely deserve. I hope to be able to write again soon! Thank you again, Andy! You have made me and my blog feel very special. :)

  1. Oh you deserve this honour Karishma! I thought of you right away when I read the rules. I am sorry to hear you were feeling so bad. I hope you are on your way to a full recovery! I thought you were gone on another wonderful trip. Evidently not, huh? ~ my blog wouldn’t accept a comment? Dang! I need all the comments I can get. I think I fixed it. As far as the travel blog, pack your bags! Can you meet us in Jamaica this weekend? its finally time to take that trip past the continental shelf. I had some ideas for a travel blog. It would be one where others could contribute their trips and ideas (and writing styles) as well. Such as best air ports, air ports to avoid, favorite links for making reservations, and travel stories. My vision kinda rivals Trip Advisor but with more pictures and fun to read. And the way you write so good it would be like turning pages in an exciting book. If you are still interested think about some ideas about what a fun and useful travel blog might look like and maybe we can compare notes. You have my email now. I do hope you are feeling better Karishma! Meetcha in Customs!

    1. Oh goodness, I can only imagine how exciting that would be, to meet in customs and go away to write a travel blog! Does it get any better than that? I love your vision and I think it would be fantastic, the advice, others weighing in with their experiences. Since I have a dog (who has now traveled to NYC with me) you could do a section on traveling with a small pet too! I know there aren’t enough websites/blogs that talk about that.
I hope we’ll chat more about this through email and swap ideas there! :)
